The Viking axe necklace or Norse warrior Valknut pendant is made of solid hypoallergenic 316L surgical stainless steel.
The Norse axe pendant is three-dimensional and reversible, the front is the same as the back.
The Norse warrior axe has Odin's raven at the handle and the Valknut symbol on the blade. The name Valknut is not a traditional Viking name but a modern Norwegian title given to the symbol. It combines the words for a slain warrior, "valr," and knot "knut" to mean knot of slain warriors. This name Valknut appears to be associated with the dead and with Odin, the god of war and the dead.
The pendant has a high polish finish and approximately measures 42mm long by 30mm wide by 9mm thick at the blade. The bail in the handle can accommodate a chain or cord up to 6mm wide.
