The comedy and tragedy masks were first worn in ancient Greece during the golden age 500–300 BC. They are paired together to show the two extremes of the human psyche. The comedy and tragedy masks symbolize the theater and represent the traditional generic division between comedy and tragedy. They are also symbols of the ancient Greek Muses, Thalia (the Muse of comedy) and Melpomene (the Muse of tragedy).
This comedy and tragedy mask ring is made of solid hypoallergenic 316L surgical stainless steel.
The entire ring has a high polish finish and approximately measures 20mm tall/wide at the masks by 3mm wide at the back of the band.
This design is currently available in ring sizes 7, 8, 9, and 10.
This ring will make a perfect gift for any aspiring actor, drama club student, or theater aficionado.
