The ankh is an ancient Egyptian symbol most commonly used in writing to represent the word for "life" and, by extension, is a symbol for life. The ancient Egyptians would often carry and wear ankh ornaments for protection.
This awesome ankh necklace is made of solid hypoallergenic 316l stainless steel.
The ankh is highly detailed and has a scarab in the center. The pendant is then given a high polish gold or black color PVD finish with antiquing to highlight the details.
In ancient Egypt, the scarab was a symbol of immortality, resurrection, transformation, and protection.
This ankh (without bail) measures 54mm long x 39mm wide x 8mm thick. The bail can accommodate a chain or cord necklace up to 6.5mm wide.
